Description

Antique Japanese little cabinet with sliding doors, made in the 1920s probably. Looks like elm or a very similar asian timber. The doors have a striking grain to them and feature inset beaten copper handles. This could be a table top cupboard or it could work as a low side or lamp table. Condition is pretty good structurally: it's solid and sound; a split in one side but it doesn't move; likewise a repair to the top front right corner (both pictured). Cosmetically there are various scuffs, marks and scratches etc though nothing too bad; the top has a lighter area, probably from where it had another piece that sat on top.
